  1. How long does it take for a design to be completed?
    The timescale of a project is generally dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it for you. This depends on a number of factors, such as complexity and content. Small websites may only take a few weeks, while a large complex website can take up to several months. We'll provide you with timelines and objectives at the beginning of any development.

  2. What do I get for my money?
    We aim to give all of our clients 'value for money' websites. Granted you may find a cheaper offer out there and no doubt a lot more expensive solutions.   3. What happens when I complete your contact form?
    If you are making an enquiry about a possible site you would like created, please use our contact form provide a brief outline of your requirments. We will then mail you back promptly with an idea of price/timescale and any suggestions with regard to your project. You are not obliged to use our services at any stage during this process, so feel free to use the form to ask any related questions you may have.

  4. Are there any on-going costs?
    There are two main costs to keeping your website live and online. These are your domain and hosting. The domain name is your 'www.yourwebsite.co.nz' and these cost around NZ$50 a year. Hosting is where your site is located on the web, and depending on your websites requirements, this starts at around NZ$15 / month. See our Hosting FAQ's for more.

  5. Can I update my content?
    Updating your website is a great idea to keep it current and interesting, once your website is built it’s quite cost-effective. We can change any part of your website at any time, such as adding extra pages, adding photos or changing contact details. If your interested in making changes to your website yourself, ask us about Content Management options, where you can modify elements of your website from your own browser, quickly and simply.

  6. How do I know people are visiting my site?

  7. I already have a website, so how can you help?
    Websites, with time, can go out of date. For websites to work to their full potential, they must be kept current and fresh. We can take a look at your website and provide you with a list of recommendations on how it can be improved and rebuild it where necessary.

Website Hosting
  1. How long does it take to set up my account?
    Most orders are processed within an hour, however, due to circumstances beyond our control, it can take 24-48hrs for some accounts to become 'live'.

  2. What platform do your servers run on?
    We operate Linux/Unix based Operating Systems on our servers. This is the industry standard with 75% of all websites using this platform as it offers the cheapest, yet most powerful solutions.

  3. Where are your servers located?
    We operate a shared server system that is located in a US based datacenter. This is for both cost (keeping them down) reasons and because of the infrastructure that simply can't be matched by any NZ based providers.

  4. What's the difference between webspace and bandwidth?
    Webspace is the amount of memory that your website, including statistics and email, takes up on the server - similar to files in a folder on your home computer. Bandwidth is the amount of data that is sent and received from our server by people accessing (viewing) your website.

  5. Can I change my hosting plan?
    Yes, at any time you feel the need to increase or decrease the amount of space you need to operate your website, simply let us know and we will make the appropriate adjustment and your hosting charge will reflect the change on the next billing cycle.

  6. I don't know what all those acronyms and other complicated hosting terms mean.
